Agatha: Coven of Chaos will feature at least one more familiar face from Westview.

Emma Caulfield Ford, who played Dottie Jones/Sarah Proctor on WandaVision, will be reprising her role for the upcoming Agatha Harkness spinoff starring Kathryn Hahn. But it sounds like it won't be her only upcoming gig in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. "That is super fun. There's a couple of things actually," the actor told Vanity Fair. "There's another thing which I also can’t really say."

While the former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star didn't go into further details about the mystery project, the fact that she'll be returning for Coven of Chaos is intriguing now that Wanda's spell has been broken and Dottie has reverted to Sarah. Last audiences saw Agatha, Wanda had trapped her in the Agnes persona once again, so the new series will likely kick off exploring the fallout of what happened in Westview and detail Agatha's journey to freedom -- and possibly redemption.

Emma Caulfield Ford Opens Up About MS

As for Caulfield Ford, the actor revealed the news of her MCU return after sharing her multiple sclerosis diagnosis. Having been diagnosed in 2010, the actor kept her condition private, which caused a certain amount of strain for her while working.

"I worked all through it," she said. "I've worked through it every single time I felt tired… I shot WandaVision in that heat. We had started shooting in Atlanta and then the pandemic happened. Everything got shut down. We were never supposed to be shooting any of these outdoor, big costume scenes [in late summer]. All that was supposed to happen in spring, but it didn’t. It got pushed. The show shut down. We picked back up again in late August [2020] here in LA."

August 2020 saw intense heat waves hit Los Angeles, a major trigger for MS symptoms. But now that the actor has decided to open up about her condition, due in large part to the concern that her daughter may inherit the disease, things can function differently on set.

"I am going back to work! Everyone has been notified that needs to be notified," Caulfield Ford said. "I can't put myself through what I did with WandaVision again. I can't do that. They did nothing wrong… They had no idea what was going on with me. They didn't ask anything of me that was like, "I need to call my agent!" They're asking me to just sit and chat and do my dialogue. It's not hard."

Agatha: Coven of Chaos is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in Winter 2023.
