A new '50s-style clip from the upcoming Disney+ series WandaVision, which will be the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first sitcom, sees Scarlet Witch and The Vision having some problems with their memories. The black-and-white clip begins with Vision asking Wanda if there is "something special about today." Seeing that someone has drawn a heart over the date of Aug. 23, Wanda pretends to remember the significance of the date. After a joke about Vision being incapable of forgetfulness or exaggeration, the clip ends with the two pretending to remember what is so important about the date and then kissing. During the clip, a laugh track fills the air.RELATED: WandaVision Adds a Fan-Favorite Buffy Alum in Mystery Role

While the clip does present Wanda and Vision being cheerful and silly, there could be a creepier explanation behind the date's significance and why the pair can't remember it, given that fans have seen WandaVision's more horror-based side in its trailers.

As for the actual significance of Aug. 23, that still remains unclear. However, it's worth noting that on Aug. 23, 2019 at D23 Expo, Marvel Studios President and Marvel Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige made several WandaVision announcements, such as the return of Darcy Lewis and Randall Park and the addition of Kathryn Hahn.
