Marvel Studios released its first official trailer for WandaVision earlier this week, and although it provided fans with their first glimpse into the new Disney+ series, it ended without revealing an official release date. However, a look at Disney+'s source code may have revealed an answer to Disney's mysterious "coming soon" statement.

According to Murphy's Multiverse, new Disney+ source code provides evidence that WandaVision will release on Friday, Nov. 27, just in time for Thanksgiving weekend.

Over the past couple of days, Edward Rose of Murphy's Multiverse scoured Disney+ source code to find any indication of WandaVision's release date and finally found his answer. On Sept. 18, the show's Disney+ landing page was updated to include a line that read, "'releaseDate':'2020-11-27'". This suggests that WandaVision's page will debut on Disney+ on that date.

To determine if the information was credible, the source code for the upcoming second season of The Mandalorian was also checked. Buried in the show's code was a similar line that read "'releaseDate':'2020-10-30'". Oct. 30 is the confirmed official release date of The Mandalorian Season 2.

Source code for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier revealed a release date of Dec. 31, 2021, and the code for Loki listed its release year as 2021 and its release date as "null." Although this information is currently just speculation, it does fall directly in line with Disney’s confirmation that WandaVision will premiere sometime this year, prior to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

The synopsis for Disney+'s WandaVision can be found below.

Marvel Studios presents "WandaVision," a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) – two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives – begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems. The new series is directed by Matt Shakman; Jac Schaeffer is head writer.

Arriving later this year on Disney+, WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Vision, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Kathryn Hahn.
