Disney+'s latest poster for WandaVision reveals Darcy Lewis' Westview persona on the show.
The poster advertises "A Signal with Vision," with Darcy in her Westview outfit standing beside a television set showing Wanda and Vision in their Halloween costumes from WandaVision Episode 6, "All-New Halloween Spooktacular!" It also includes a new tagline for the series reading, "See clearer with the best in technology -- at a dealer today."
Played by Kat Dennings, Darcy Lewis first appeared in 2011's Thor as a political science student interning for astrophysicist Jane Foster. She continued to work with Jane in 2013's Thor: The Dark World before returning to school and earning her doctorate in astrophysics. Years later, on WandaVision, Darcy and a group of scientists were recruited by S.W.O.R.D. to investigate the mysterious anomaly surrounding the town of Westview, NJ.
"All-New Halloween Spooktacular!" ended with Wanda expanding the hexagonal static wall around Westview to save Vision after he tried to step through the barrier and began to disintegrate. In doing so, Darcy and the temporary S.W.O.R.D. base set up near Westview were pulled into the WandaVision reality, transforming the base into a circus and at least two lower-level S.W.O.R.D. agents into clowns. However, the episode held off on revealing how Darcy was affected by passing through the barrier.
Dennings recently revealed she didn't know Marvel Studios was planning to bring back Darcy for WandaVision until she got cold-called by the studio. She also confirmed she's set to reprise her role in future Marvel Cinematic Universe projects down the line, teasing, "There are some things I’ve done for Marvel that are coming out that are not this, but I probably can’t say."
Keeping that in mind, Dennings claimed that, as far as she knows, Darcy won't be appearing in the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder. The fourth Thor movie, Love and Thunder is currently in production in Australia, with Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman reprising their respective roles as the God of Thunder and Jane.
