Walt Disney World has announced that it will reopen it's theme parks in July, following the closures due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Walt Disney World Resort will do a phased reopening July 11, joined by the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom also reopening July 11. Epcot and Hollywood Studios will follow on July 15.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney World Senior VP of Operations, Jim McPhee, announced the reopenings to the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force. Changes being implemented to the parks include temperature checks, physical distancing, enhanced cleaning of the facilities, hand-washing and sanitation stations and "limited-contact enhancements." These enhancements range from contactless payment to mobile restaurant orders.
