DC has revealed details for its Free Comic Book Day offerings this year, with a Wally West-focused story in Generation Zero. The cover by Francis Manapul features the speedster Wally West racing towards the reader, with Doctor Manhattan's symbol on his forehead.

The FCBD “Gold” comic, called Generation Zero, has two stories: “Flash Forward: Epilogue” by the Flash Forward creative team of Scott Lobdell and Brett Booth, and “A Brave New World,” which reprints Scott Snyder and Bryan Hitch's story from Wonder Woman #750.

As stated above, Flash Forward: Epilogue” continues Wally West's story from the Flash Forward six-issue miniseries with all-new content. The Wonder Woman story by Snyder and Hitch introduces Diana as DC's first superhero as she saves Franklin D. Roosevelt from an assassination attempt at the World's Fair in New York. Wonder Woman's heroic efforts inspire a new generation of heroes to rise up, including the first Green Lantern, Alan Scott of the Justice Society of America.

DC recently released information on a possible sequel to Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's Dark Nights: Metal, which looks to continue Snyder's story from Justice League. The artwork by Capullo features Wonder Woman wearing exotic battle armor while wielding the Lasso of Truth with a chainsaw, called the Chainsaw of Truth.

Free Comic Book Day is on Saturday, May 2.
