The new season of The Walking Dead is only weeks away, which means the return of the Whisperers. In a new photo from Season 10, Gamma joins the fray to terrorize the citizens of Alexandria, as well as the residents at the Hilltop and the Kingdom.Yesterday afternoon, actor Thora Birch shared perhaps the best look yet at one of the newest Whisperers: Gamma. Check out this new photo of Alpha's third-in-command below.
Sure, Birch is giving what looks like the faintest smile beneath her Walker mask, but it's probably pretty safe to say she's got bad intentions for The Walking Dead's survivors. Gamma never appeared in Robert Kirkman's comic series and is an original character created for the show, so her story and motives are about as unclear to fans as they are to Michonne and the rest of the gang.
Birch is perhaps best known for her role in 2001's Ghost World, where she appeared opposite Scarlett Johansson. She has also appeared in Hocus Pocus, Patriot Games, Colony and The Last Black Man in San Francisco.
AMC's The Walking Dead stars Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Josh McDermitt, Christian Serratos, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Nadia Hilker, Dan Fogler, Angel Theory, Lauren Ridloff and Eleanor Matsuura. The series returns for Season 10 on Oct. 6.
