The Walking Dead's next spinoff has found another main cast member.

According to Deadline, Younger star Nico Tortorella will play Felix, "an honorable man of his word who isn’t afraid to fight for others’ safety and acceptance."

The spinoff, which does not yet have a title, follows "the first generation to come of age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever."

Tortorella joins a cast that already includes Annet Mahendru, Aliyah Royale, Alexa Mansour, Nicolas Cantu and Hal Cumpston. Mansour (Unfiltered: Dark Web) will reportedly portray a likable, impulsive rule-breaker with a sad secret, while Cantu (LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures) will portray a boy described as an old soul and trained in martial arts. Cumpston (Bilched) portrays a character described as big for his age, who scares other children due to his size, making him a bit of a loner figure.

Tortorella is perhaps best known for his role on Younger. His work on The Walking Dead spinoff is not expected to conflict with his series regular role on the TV Land series. His previous credits also include The Following, Scream 4 and Make It or Break It.
