To celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Skybound will release new variant covers for its titles which feature artwork by artists of Asian or AAPI heritage.

The titles that will receive variant covers include The Walking Dead Deluxe -- which features a cover spotlighting Glenn Rhee -- as well as Robert Kirkman and Chris Sammee's martial arts title Fire Power. All proceeds from the sales will be donated to CCED, a Los Angeles-based volunteer organization.

"With the dramatic rise in hate crimes against the AAPI communities, Skybound decided to launch this new initiative to raise awareness of this epidemic and to raise money to support the excellent work that CCED is doing here in Los Angeles," said Skybound SVP/Editor-in-Chief Sean Mackiewicz. "We recognize that it isn’t enough for every single one of us at Skybound to simply oppose these racist actions—we must also take actions to support those in AAPI communities doing the work at a local level to affect meaningful change."

The list of titles with AAPI Heritage Month variant covers and their corresponding artists include:

  1. Fire Power #11 by Erica Henderson
  2. The Walking Dead Deluxe #14 by Ethan Young
  3. Birthright #49 by EJ Su
  4. Stillwater #7 by Soo Lee
  5. Ultramega #3
  6. The Walking Dead Deluxe #15 by Cynthia Young
  7. Excellence #11 by Robin Ha
  8. Manifest Destiny #43

Written by Robert Kirkman and illustrated by Chris Sammee with a variant cover by Erica Henderson, Fire Power #11 goes on sale on May 5 from Image Comics and Skybound.
