WARNING: The following may contain potential spoilers for The Walking Dead Season 11, Part 2, premiering on Feb. 20 on AMC.

Forget the Reapers, the Commonwealth is in town, and they're taking over The Walking Dead. The Season 11, Part 2 trailer reveals much more about what's to come of the mysterious community, and the clash with Alexandria may be approaching.

The Commonwealth was teased back in the Season 9 finale when Stephanie's voice is overheard on the radio Eugene fixed to communicate with Alexandria's sister communities and other possible settlements. It isn't until Season 10, Episode 6, "Bonds," that Stephanie and Eugene communicate with one another and eventually plan to meet at the Commonwealth. Eugene takes a group consisting of Yumiko, Eugene and newcomer, Princess, to the city, to discover it has over 50,000 citizens and a full government system, as if the apocalypse never happened. But as new advancements are made and stricter rules are enforced, it becomes increasingly clear that the Commonwealth is not what they say they are.

The Commonwealth storyline has arguably been the most intriguing storyline of Season 11, Part 1, even if it was a secondary plot. But the Season 11, Part 2 trailer promises the Commonwealth is moving to the forefront of The Walking Dead by merging the main characters from Alexandria with the colorful and secretive characters of the Commonwealth. Soon enough, Daryl, Maggie and Carol are going to meet Governor Pamela Milton, who is on track to be the next and possible final villain of the series. The trailer shows an army of Commonwealth stormtrooper look-a-likes storming up to Alexandria, with its members ready to protect themselves and their community.

But with dwindling resources and unlivable standards, Alexandria may be forced to consider the Commonwealth their new home until theirs is up and running. In the trailer, Carol has seemed to have taken a job as a baker, bringing back her classic cookies and manipulative tactics, and Daryl is finding his way around the massive city. In addition, Yumiko may be getting a little too comfortable at a formal party hosted by Pamela, where she seems to be a prestige guest. But while some have easily slipped into the unfair class system of the Commonwealth, others are having a harder time accepting it.

Rosita and Magna confide to each other in the trailer that the Commonwealth is a reminder of the bad things before the apocalypse, where the ones who don't fit in get cast out. Just like The Walking Dead comics, the television version of the Commonwealth comes into conflict with the main characters because of their caste system that bases people's superiority on their pre-apocalypse professions. Their urge to control the smaller communities is also a big issue, which seems to be where the final season is going. Maggie is often seen glaring down at the soldiers of the Commonwealth in disapproval, protecting her son in the process. It's unclear what her role is in the future of The Walking Dead, but it seems she may be the rebel in this cause.

The most interesting and hidden detail from the tease is the status of the real Stephanie. Unfortunately, The Walking Dead has potentially spoiled the Stephanie plotline in press photos for "Out of the Ashes," where the Stephanie portrayed by Chelle Ramos is credited as "decoy Stephanie," and the real Stephanie portrayed by Margot Bingham as "Max, FKA Stephanie." The trailer shows a shot of a missing person's poster with a drawing of the real Stephanie and her name as "Stephanie Vega." Additionally, Eugene threatens someone off-screen about their deceitfulness. Stephanie's disappearance definitely alludes to something shady going on at the Commonwealth, as if she knew too much and had the potential to expose something to the members of Alexandria.

Stephanie's disappearance, Carol taking back her reign as the cookie master and Pamela's black tie parties may not even touch what the Commonwealth is capable of, but they're definitely foreshadowing it. Hopefully the show will wrap up the Reapers storyline quick to get a move on with the Commonwealth, which is most likely since The Walking Dead is notorious for only showing scenes from the first two to three episodes of what they're promoting. More exciting than ever, The Walking Dead finally seems to be embracing its fullest potential by attempting to pull off the grand scale of the Commonwealth and its series-concluding storyline.

The second half of The Walking Dead's final season begins on Feb. 20 on AMC.
