Negan has arrived, bringing with him a seismic shift in the world of Rick Grimes and the Alexandria survivors. However, there's another new player on the horizon, and he's set to arrive sooner than later.

In the first scene from the second episode of "The Walking Dead's" Season 7, Morgan pushes a wheelchair-bound Carol through a new community dubbed The Kingdom. As the tour comes to a close, Morgan informs carol they're about to meet their host, the leader of the community known as King Ezekiel.

The iconic character from Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard's Imoge Comics series will be brought to life by Khary Payton, best known by most comic fans as the voice of Cyborg on "Teen Titans Go!" and Equaled on "Young Justice." And while we don't know just how closely the character will hew to his comic book roots -- Morgan and Carol were both long dead by the time Ezekiel first appeared -- he does bring with him Shiva, a tiger who serves as his best friend and bodyguard. For Rick and company's sake, let's hope he also follows in his counterpart's path of being more friend than foe to Alexandria and its residents.
