The actor tweeted a photo of himself and some other cast members back in Season 1, captioning it "Season one. So long ago. Season four, now we begin." Not much is known about Season 4 of The Boys, but showrunner Eric Kripke recently revealed the season premiere's episode title: Department of Dirty Tricks.

The Boys was renewed for a new season in June, a matter of days after the premiere of Season 3, which saw a 17% viewership increase from the first episode of Season 2. In a statement, Amazon also noted that the show's audience had grown by 234% since the first season. The head of global television at Amazon Studios, Vernon Sanders, said that the decision to renew the show also comes from it continually "push[ing] boundaries in storytelling while also being relentlessly entertaining and threading the needle on social satire that feels all too real."
