Earlier in the year, Bandai Namco announced that The Walking Dead's baseball bat-wielding Negan would join Tekken 7's cast. During the Tekken World Tournament, the developer released The Walking Dead antagonist's first gameplay trailer, and it looks like he's back to his old tricks again.

Voiced by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the trailer is set up a lot like his first appearance in the AMC series, the Season 6 finale "Last Day on Earth." He plays Eenie Meeny Miney Moe to figure out whose skull to cave in, taking glee in the dark game. Armed with his trusty baseball bat Lucille, Negan goes toe-to-toe with some of Tekken's biggest stars, pummeling them all. He also manages to fend off a tiger before making that fateful swing upon who he deems "it."

Negan's super move allows him to bash his enemy to their knees, at which point the camera shifts to his victim's perspective, allowing for a first view of Negan delivering his devastating final blow. That said, it lacks the blood that came with the first time he used the bat on the show, so those hoping to duplicate the character's brutality might be a bit disappointed.

Tekken 7 also features Noctis, Akuma and Geese Howard, guest characters hailing from Square Enix and two equally iconic fighting franchises. The latter two were included in 2016's arcade exclusive Fated Retribution, while Noctis appeared in the primary Tekken 7 game, released in 2015
