The Walking Dead Season 10 has seen Negan cope with his own bloody legacy and flirt with the possibility of redemption after the fan-favorite antagonist broke free from captivity in Alexandria.

A new report notes that the season's upcoming sixth episode, titled "Bonds," will have Negan go to interesting lengths to prove himself worthy of Alpha and the Whisperers she leads. It claims the character will do things he has never done before, with his usual caustic charm.

Season 8 ended with Negan and his Saviors defeated, while Negan was imprisoned within Alexandria for years for his crimes. Season 9 saw the character flirt with redemption before being jailed in Season 10 for accidentally going too far while trying to break up a fight.

After escaping, Negan encountered and killed a former Savior before deliberately entering Whisperer territory, where he was subdued by Beta. What role Negan has to play in the face of the coming Whisperer War has yet to be seen.
