Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Negan could be getting a new look for Season 9 of The Walking Dead. As the hit AMC drama moves toward a new season and a new storyline, it be may preparing for a more comics-accurate appearance for the fan-favorite villain.Season 8 wrapped up the long-running war between Rick Grimes' survivors and Negan's Saviors, but comic book fans know that isn't the end for the bat-swinging antagonist. Morgan first posted a photo of him and his son Augustus, which was then shared by The Walking Dead's Twitter account. The image shows the actor without Negan's slicked-back hair, and sporting a shorter beard.

The Walking Dead is no stranger to shocking character changes; Season 8 was made famous for Andrew Lincoln's "Old Man Rick."  Considering that the AMC drama is headed for a significant time jump in Season 9, there is every chance that several characters will undergo makeovers.

With The Walking Dead preparing to usher in a new era with the departure of big names like Lincoln and Lauren Cohan, Morgan's role could become even more prominent.
