A rebellion is coming to "The Walking Dead." In a new promo for Season 7's mid-season premiere, Rick Grimes rallies Alexandria, the Hilltop and the Kingdom against the Saviors.

"Our communities have something in common," he announces in the trailer. "We all serve the Saviors." He then personally extends an invitation to Ezekiel, the leader of the Kingdom -- but we'll have to wait until the episode airs to see how he answers.

In the comics, of course, the Kingdom does team up with Alexandria and the Hilltop to fight the Saviors. The "All Out War" storyline saw the three communities battle the Saviors, with Negan ultimately ending up as Rick's prisoner. Of course, the show has often deviated from the comics, so it's unclear whether or not the show's cast of characters will achieve such a favorable result.

AMC also released a new banner for the back half of Season 7, which features the tagline "RISE UP." Each of the surviving characters from Rick's crew is featured in the letters, which are bathed in red overtones -- and may very well be a foreshadowing of the bloody events to come. After all, it looks as though there's a war between the Saviors and their victims coming to "The Walking Dead."
