Walking Dead: AMC Releases Michonne's [SPOILER]-Killing Scene

SPOILER WARNING: The following article contains spoilers for this week's episode of The Walking Dead, "Scars," which premiered Sunday on AMC.

This week's episode of The Walking Dead was filled with revelations and shocking moments, but perhaps none as brutal as Michonne squaring off against Jocelyn and her personal army of killer children. AMC has released the controversial scene online, showing how a pregnant Michonne was forced to kill Jocelyn and her children in order to rescue Judith.

The sequence takes place before the six-year time jump following Rick Grimes' disappearance in the middle of Season 9.

The bloody battle took a heavy psychological toll on Michonne, leading her to insititude a firm policy in Alexandria. Following this, the community no longer took in outsider survivors for refuge, leading to a breakdown between Alexandria and other nearby survivor communities.
