The Walking Dead star Lauren Cohan -- who plays Maggie Rhee (née Greene) -- has teased the possibility of more spinoffs set within the AMC show's universe.

AMC's The Walking Dead was recently confirmed to be coming to an end with the forthcoming Season 11, which Cohan discussed during a recent appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan. "People are so hungry for our whole universe still that it's sort of exciting, 'cause there's all these spinoff possibilities," she said. "So, I'm sort of, like... you know, I don't know if I'm supposed to say that yet."

Elsewhere in the interview, Cohan -- who departed The Walking Dead as a main cast member after Season 9 -- confirmed that in addition to returning for Season 10's upcoming finale and bonus episodes -- which she is currently in Georgia to film -- she is officially back in Season 11 as well.

Based on the Image Comics series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard, The Walking Dead premiered on AMC on Halloween of 2010. Its first spinoff series, Fear the Walking Dead, arrived in August of 2015. A second spinoff, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, is slated to premiere on AMC on Oct. 4 -- the same day as The Walking Dead's Season 10 finale. Moreover, a spinoff starring the characters of Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier has been confirmed for 2023, with an anthology series in the works as well. A Walking Dead film starring actor Andrew Lincoln -- who departed the series after Season 9 -- is also in the works, with two sequels planned.
