You can read the plot synopsis for The Walking Dead Season 11 below:

The Walking Dead returns with many of our heroes fighting imminent hellfire under Reaper attack; while others battle Mother Nature’s torrential wrath in Alexandria. For all, their world is literally crashing down around them. Meanwhile, life in the Commonwealth is not as idyllic as it seems. For some, hope will be renewed. Others will be pushed past the point of no return. One truth holds tight: Lives hang in the balance with each decision drastically changing their future, their chances of survival, and the state of each community.

In the final episode of The Walking Dead Season 11 Part 1, a fight broke out between a number of key survivors and the Reapers, a group of particularly vicious and predatory fighters. Meanwhile, the survivors in Alexandria were hit with a vicious storm as a group of walkers attacked. As that's been going on, other Alexandria Safe-Zone survivors have also had to navigate the Commonwealth.

The Commonwealth made its first official appearance in The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 5, "Out of the Ashes." The group is a collection of towns led by Milton, who is slated to debut in The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 10, "New Haunts." The Commonwealth is a particularly powerful organization and has its own well-disciplined and trained army. In the comics, the Alexandria Safe-Zone's meeting with the Commonwealth -- which adheres to a class system based on what people did prior to the apocalypse -- radically changes the group's core survivors and results in the death of Rick Grimes. However, since Grimes has been presumed dead for quite some time in the series and there have been a number of other changes, the TV show is certain to have its own spin on the Commonwealth.

Based on the comic of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard, The Walking Dead premiered in 2010 on AMC. The show, which follows an ever-changing group of survivors in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse, has generally been well-received over its run and been one of the most-watched broadcast TV series. Due to the show's popularity, AMC has greenlit a number of spinoff projects, including movies centered on Grimes and several TV shows. The Walking Dead Season 11 will be the final outing for the flagship series.

The Walking Dead Season 11 Part 2 will be available early through AMC+ on Sunday, Feb. 13. The episode will then air one week later on Sunday, Feb. 20, at 9:00PM ET on AMC. Part 2 runs for eight episodes and will release weekly.
