Skybound Games announced today that The Walking Dead: The Final Season will release its third episode, "Broken Toys," on Jan. 15, 2019.

Skybound released a trailer for the episode showing how far Clementine has come over the course of the series. The video features the promising tagline: "It's not over yet."

In a statement on its website, Skybound expressed its gratitude to fans: "We’re extremely thankful to the team working on this game to make sure the season is finished with the quality the game and the fans deserve. We are #stillnotbitten." Along with releasing the final two episodes of The Walking Dead, the game's previous seasons and episodes have been re-released on nearly all platforms. The studio promised an update on its progress for PC gamers, reiterating that those who bought the season pass for The Final Season before Telltale's closing will still receive the final two episodes.

Skybound acquired the rights to The Walking Dead following the massive layoffs at original developer Telltale Games earlier this year. The acquisition was first announced at New York Comic Con earlier this year, with franchise creator Robert Kirkman telling an excited crowd that they couldn't "lose Andrew Lincoln and Clementine in the same year."

The Walking Dead: The Final Season's third episode will release on Jan. 15, 2019.
