Back in January, Image Comics revealed a set of second printing covers for The Walking Dead Deluxe #1-6 from artist David Finch and colorist Dave McCaig. Finch and McCaig are now back with a new batch of six second printing covers, this time for Walking Dead Deluxe #7-12.

"Image/Skybound announced today that the red-hot The Walking Dead Deluxe, presenting the iconic series in full color format for the first time, has sold out of multiple issues once again," Image said in its official release. "To meet this demand, The Walking Dead Deluxe #7-12 second printings will be rushed to stores featuring all new main covers from superstars David Finch and Dave McCaig, along with a rare variant featuring the raw artwork from Finch." The second printings of Walking Dead Deluxe #7-12 are slated hit comic shops on Wednesday, June 30.

Like Finch and McCaig's first batch of Walking Dead Deluxe covers, each of these new covers features a close-up image of a half-zombified character from The Walking Dead. This time around, it's Tyreese, Dale, Julie, Hershel, Maggie and Carol who take center stage.

Last year, Image and Skybound Entertainment enlisted McCaig for Walking Dead Deluxe, a full-color re-issue of the original Walking Dead comic book series by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard. Seeing as how the first six issues of The Walking Dead were the only ones to be illustrated by Moore, Walking Dead Deluxe is now firmly in the Adlard era. McCaig has worked on a number of other popular titles as a colorist, including Action Comics, Adam Strange, American Vampire and New X-Men.
