Last year, Image Comics and Skybound Entertainment launched The Walking Dead Deluxe -- which presents Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard's iconic Image series The Walking Dead in full color for the first time, courtesy of colorist Dave McCaig. Image and Skybound have now announced that the first six issues of Walking Dead Deluxe are going back for second printings, complete with new covers by David Finch and McCaig.

The Walking Dead Deluxe #1-6 are being "rushed back to print" by Image and Skybound after selling out the distributor level, the two companies explain in their press release. "Written by creator Robert Kirkman, with art by Tony Moore, and colors by Dave McCaig, The Walking Dead #1-6 present the worldwide pop culture phenomenon like never before with new 'Cutting Room Floor' commentary, revelations, pinups and more from Kirkman celebrating the secret history of the series," the release continues. The new printings of these issues are slated to hit comic shops on Wednesday, Feb. 24.

The Walking Dead's first six issues were the only ones to be illustrated by Moore, with Adlard taking over for The Walking Dead #7-193 (though Moore continued to create covers for the series through issue #24). The second printings for The Walking Dead Deluxe #1-6 will not only feature new covers by Finch and McCaig, but also rare 1:25 variants featuring Finch's raw, uncolored artwork.

The second printings of The Walking Dead Deluxe #1-6 go on sale Feb. 24 from Image Comics.
