Walker S3E6 Trey

Trey Barnett reunites with his old friend Kevin, who's now the mayor's chief of staff. Trey and Cassie Perez agree to attend a formal mayoral event incognito after the mayor receives a serious death threat. Trey is to shadow the mayor’s personal assistant Laila throughout the event while Cassie is relegated to the sidelines. But then Kevin is incapacitated by a deadly nerve agent evidently intended for the mayor, with evidence linked to the terrorist syndicate that abducted Walker and Liam.

Walker and Liam confront their shared trauma directly by visiting the site where they were both captured and tortured by the anarchists, with Liam visibly haunted. Lost in painful memories, Liam despairs that all his recent therapy with wild horses appears to have had no effect on him. He recounts that their captors led him to believe they had killed Walker and forced him to bury the body; even months after learning this was a lie, Liam is still traumatized by that belief that his brother was dead.

Walker S3E6 Liam Cordell

After learning about Kevin's situation from Cassie and Trey, Walker investigates an abandoned refinery where they suspect the nerve agent is being stored by the anarchists. Elsewhere, Stella and Abby are concerned by how ambivalent August has become about throwing the party, with August blaming their father for how he’s been behaving rather than taking responsibility for it himself. Upon returning home, Walker attempts to apologize to Stella about how he treated her over the party -- only to discover that she has moved out. Now with her boyfriend Colton, Stella prepares to start her own future on her terms, leaving the rest of her family behind.

Developed for television by Anna Fricke, Walker airs Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. on The CW.
