The following contains spoilers for Walker Season 2, Episode 13, "One Good Thing," which aired Thursday, April 7 on The CW.

The Walker family's longstanding feud with the Davidsons has taken a toll, with the Walkers losing big and on the defensive skids. Cordell Walker lost a horse race against Dan Miller, who married into the Davidson family and their feud, resulting in the Walkers losing their ranch to their rivals as the wager. To make matters worse, Walker family patriarch Bonham was accused of murder after being linked to hiding evidence from the fire that claimed Marv Davidson's life years ago. And as the Walker family tries to deal with the fallout, Bonham is facing criminal charges based on the case the Davidsons are building against him.

Walker leads his family and the ranch hands to clear out the Walker family home and ranch as they vacate the property to relinquish it to the Davidsons. The ranchers are understandably displeased that they were not informed that the Walkers were wagering their livelihood over some family feud. This happens while Liam Walker moves to defend his father in a pre-trial hearing regarding the death of Marv. Though Liam is successful in getting Denise Davidson removed as prosecutor due to an obvious conflict of interest, Bonham's bail is denied and he remains behind bars.

Walker S2 E13 August

After meeting with Bonham in prison, Abby reveals to her sons that Marv and Gail’s youngest child, who was presumed dead, is secretly alive and Bonham also knew about that. This fosters suspicion in Walker, even as Captain James and Cassie Perez (played by Ashley Reyes) find motive for one of the Davidsons’ shady ranch hands -- a man named Nate Smith -- to be involved in the fatal fire. The revelation clouds Walker’s judgment when he and Cassie approach Nate, resulting in the old rancher going on the defensive and becoming uncooperative.

Denise visits Walker and tacitly warns him that getting Cassie involved in the investigation could endanger her career. Cassie has quietly been keeping tabs on Nate since their tense conversation earlier, believing that he's planning to leave town in the face of heightened scrutiny. Nate approaches Geri Broussard at the Side Step with something important to tell her, with Walker arriving just in time to hear the conversation.

Walker S2 E13 Geri

Years ago, when Geri was struggling with a serious heart condition as a child, her father Frank and Nate decided to rob the Davidsons to pay for her life-saving medical treatment. When the accidental barn fire began, Marv had caught Frank in the act, resulting in Frank apparently killing Marv. Nate discloses that Bonham actually attempted to break into the barn to save Marv, but he was unsuccessful. As Geri reacts emotionally to Nate’s story, Walker figures out that she is actually the long-lost Davidson child whom Abby was referring to earlier.

While Geri processes this shocking discovery, Walker joins his mother to help clear out the last of the ranch and home. Abby is surprised to learn that Geri was the missing child in question -- but points out that at least the news about her true parentage came from Walker. With Nate’s testimony, Bonham is released from prison and welcomed back by his family. As this family reunion happens, Geri has a fateful encounter of her own. She meets with her biological mother Gail -- who tells her that Abby knew the truth about her all along -- as mother and daughter finally reconnect.

Developed for television by Anna Fricke, Walker airs Thursdays at 8pm ET/PT on The CW.
