Walker's Episode 5, "Duke," will see Jared Padalecki's Texas Ranger going back undercover.

The CW's Texas Ranger reboot premiered on Jan. 21. Walker follows Cordell Walker (Jared Padalecki) nearly a year after his wife's death, returning to life as a Ranger. While much about Walker's time undercover is unknown, its upcoming episode teases that his past actions have consequences for his children. Walker will return to an old identity to keep his family safe.

The official synopsis for Season 1, Episode 5, "Duke," reads,

WALKER’S PAST COMES BACK TO HAUNT HIM – When his past unexpectedly collides with his present life, Walker (Jared Padalecki) is forced to resume his undercover identity to keep his family safe. Micki (Lindsey Morgan) gets caught up in Walker’s old case while August (Kale Culley) threatens to blow his father’s cover. Trey (Jeff Pierre) starts his new job. The episode was written by Bret VandenBos & Brandon Willer and directed by Steve Robin (#105). Original airdate 2/18/2021.

Although Walker earned mixed reviews since its premiere, the new series' debut became the highest rated one for the network in the past five years.

Starring Jared Padalecki, Lindsey Morgan, Keegan Allen, Mitch Pileggi, Molly Hagan, Violet Brinson, Kale Culley, Coby Bell and Jeff Pierre, Walker airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
