Robert Downey Jr. has announced the all-star voice cast of his upcoming film The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle.The star tweeted an image depicting the key cast members, including Emma Thompson (Beauty and the Beast), Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place), Rami Malek (Mr. Robot), Craig Robinson (The Office), Octavia Spencer (The Shape of Water), Ralph Fiennes (Skyfall), Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick), Carmen Ejogo (Selma), Marion Cotillard (The Dark Knight Rises), Frances de la Tour (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) and wrestler John Cena, all of whom will voice animals. While there’s no news about the movie’s plot, the title is similar to the second of Hugh Lofting’s books, The Voyages of Doctor Dolittle. In that book, the titular doctor, who possesses the ability to talk to animals, travels with his assistant Tommy Stubbins across the globe to Polynesia in search of the world’s greatest naturalist, Long Arrow, who has gone missing. The book won the Newbery Medal in 1923.

Directed by Stephen Gaghan, The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle also stars Jim Broadbent, Harry Collett,  Antonio Banderas and Michael Sheen. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on April 12, 2019.
