The official Twitter account for Vought International posted a The Boys in-universe message thanking Homelander for "defending American values" on the Fourth of July.Vought International is the villainous company responsible for founding the Seven in Prime Videos' The Boys. The company joking tweeted a post on July 4 honoring Homelander, the leader of the Seven who is played by Antony Starr. "It's our patriotic duty to trust those who can get the job done," the tweet reads. "And there's no one better at defending American values than Homelander. Don't listen to anarchists and the lamestream media, this country is PROSPERING! Vought International has posted a number of similar in-universe tweets over the course of The Boys' third season. After congratulating Starlight on "setting a record for most followed hero on Instagram ever with 193M, more than notable celebrities like Seth Rogen," the company posted a statement regarding accusations made against Vought by Erin Moriarty's character in the "Herogasm" episode. "The recent accusations made by Annie January, codename Starlight, on a recent social media livestream in no way reflect Vought International as a whole," the post reads. "Vought assures our shareholders that we will use the full power of the American Legal System to fight these spurious allegations. We can also confirm that January has been terminated, and her status as co-captain of The Seven rescinded, effective immediately."

The Boys premiered on Prime Video in 2019. Based on the Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson comic series of the same name, The Boys follows a group of vigilantes -- Hughie (Jack), Butcher (Karl Urban), Frenchie (Tomer Capone), Mother's Milk (Laz Alonso) and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) -- as they declare war against Vought's powerful team of heroes. Created by Eric Kripke, The Boys is nearing the end of its third season, with the finale, "The Instant White-Hot Wild," slated to release July 8. In June, Amazon officially renewed the show for a fourth season. Urban recently shared that the new season will begin filming in August.

The final episode of The Boys Season 3 will be available to stream Friday on Prime Video.
