Based on the DC Comics superheroine, Vixen debuted in 2015 on CW Seed, The CW's streaming platform, featuring Megalyn Echikunwoke as the voice of Mari McCabe. Set within the Arrowverse of The CW's superhero dramas, the series has featured guest appearances by the likes of Grant Gustin, Stephen Amell, Emily Bett Rickards and Brandon Routh voicing their roles from The Flash, Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

Hosted by Tiffany Smith of DC All Access, The CW broadcast of Vixen will combine the 12 episodes from the show's first two season, and include interviews with the stars and creators of the network's Arrowverse series.

Vixen herself has already made the jump to live-action, as Echikunwoke appeared as the character on the fourth season of Arrow. Maisie Richardson-Sellers currently plays Amaya, the grandmother of the animated Vixen, on the live-action Legends of Tomorrow.

The CW Seed will add more animated series to its roster with Constantine, based on the canceled NBC show starring Matt Ryan, and Freedom Fighters: The Ray. This version of The Ray is based the character who appeared in DC’s Multiversity event.

Vixen will air Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
