Global credit card brand Visa has unveiled new DC-themed credit cards called DC Power, offering seven different looks to personalize your credit card along with purchase benefits similar to a points-based rewards system.
Those who apply can choose seven variations styled after DC characters such as Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Superman, and Harley Quinn. Visa is also including a limited vertical design inspired by Batman's 80th anniversary. Applicants that are approved for the specially-themed credit card can also take advantage of a points-based rewards program.
Purchases made on the credit card add to a pool of accumulated points, which can then be used on the DC Power Rewards website for exclusive items such as shirts, figures, accessories and more. Members who use the card on their DC Universe annual subscription or purchases on the DC Entertainment shop are eligible for a 10% discount while a WB Studio Tour in Hollywood as well as merchandise can use a 20% discount.
As for the points awarded per dollar in a purchase, three points are granted to entertainment such as movie theaters, cable or TV services, books, movies, and music; two points are counted for dining and gas; and one point for general purchases. Those who spend $500 in the first three months of owning the credit card can receive a $50 Fandango promo code.
The DC credit cards are available now and will require a Visa account to take advantage of the benefits.
