Violent "Preacher" Promo Introduces Show's New Characters

The latest teaser for AMC's adaptation of Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's seminal Vertigo series mixes familiar scenes from the comics with the a pair of characters created just for the "Preacher" television series.

The 30-second commercial introduces Deblanc (Anatol Yusef) and Fiore (Tom Brooke), a pair of government agents who are investigating events that have brought them into the orbit of Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper). The pair summarize their situation -- in, in a way, the entire series -- by describing their first encounter with Jesse as a "slight, massive security breach."
