Reported new details about Spider-Man: No Way Home and Disney+'s Hawkeye series have emerged, with the latter potentially set to see the return of Vincent D'Onofrio as Kingpin.

A moderator for r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers shared a reported inside scoop on Hawkeye, claiming D'Onofrio will appear as Wilson "The Kingpin" Fisk on the series. This would mark his return as the character after serving as the villain on Netflix's Daredevil series, which is no longer considered MCU canon. If true, it would align with other recent reports of Marvel Studios finding ways to bring various Defenders characters into the MCU films and TV shows. The report also claims that Hawkeye will tie into Spider-Man: No Way Home.

According to the info, Hawkeye will arrive in November, which confirms recent reports about a fall release date. While this all but confirms Ms. Marvel will debut in October, it also means Hawkeye's reported six-episode first season will overlap with Spider-Man 3's December release. The rumor states that this is because Hawkeye will connect with the new Spider-Man film. In fact, Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock, long rumored to be in Spider-Man 3, was supposed to be on Hawkeye before scheduling conflicts led to D'Onofrio returning instead. And with D'Onofrio campaigning to be in the next Spider-Man, the Daredevil villain could appear in the film as well.

The rumor also claims that Kingpin will appear on Echo, the Hawkeye spinoff show in the works for hero Maya Lopez. That show is also reported to feature Cox's Daredevil. It was previously rumored that Murdock will appear on She-Hulk, uniting Marvel's two most famous lawyers. Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones is also rumored to appear on She-Hulk.

For now, these are all rumors, but more evidence is emerging that Marvel Studios wants to keep some of the most critically acclaimed actors from the Netflix shows as the characters they helped bring to life. Earlier this year, another rumor claimed D'Onofrio, Ritter, Cox, and Jon Bernthal, who played Punisher, were all set to join the MCU officially. All of these cameos could eventually lead to canon Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Punisher shows once Marvel is able to establish the heroes in the MCU and distance themselves from The Defenders universe.

Outside of the rumors, Hawkeye will feature Yelena Belova from Black Widow and introduce Kate Bishop's Hawkeye and new hero Echo. Given how popular D'Onofrio's take on Kingpin was, he'd likely be a welcome addition to the growing cast.
