Star Wars fans have surely thought about the villains they love to hate, and how they might change if they were dropped into another landscape. At first glance, Disney stories seem different from the intricate storylines of Star Wars, but they are similar to Disney in that they are both so far removed from reality.

And while Star Wars (based in a galaxy far far away) and the World of Disney ( full of wonder and the careful exploration of light and dark) have their differences in how goodness and evil are tackled, it's easy to see how the villains of Star Wars would fit as a part of Disney's world. Here are 10 villains from Star Wars reimagined In The Disney Universe.

10 Darth Vader Faces Off Against Merida

Darth Vader, one of the most recognizable villains ever, was once a Jedi Knight known as Anakin Skywalker. He became Darth Vader after he embraced the dark side in a bid to save his wife's life. As Darth Vader, his weapon of choice is a red lightsaber.

It would be easy to picture Darth Vader as The Dark, an evil figure hell-bent on making life difficult for Merida of Brave. His lightsaber could steal lightness from all the land and instead of killing people, he would make them non-responsive. But Merida would use her bravery and her wits to unmask him (rendering him weak) and undo his handiwork.

9 Grand Moff Tarkin Faces Off Against Jim Hawkins

Grand Moff Tarkin is the commander of the Death Star (a diminutive-sized battle station).  He commands with terror and violence, and it's that leadership philosophy that caused him to advance to Grand Moff in the Galactic Empire. In Disney, he would be Captain Tarkin, a brute and shrewd leader whose mission is to stop Jim Hawkins of Treasure Planet in his quest to collect treasures from the galaxy to please his mother (who is as shrewd as Tarkin and a difficult parent to connect with).

His corruption and ruthlessness eventually came to an end, but not before he did a great deal of damage. Kylo Ren would be at home facing off against Mulan of Mulan, a warrior who is loyal to her own father - even at the expense of her own life. He would be Kylo, a warrior who seeks to destroy China's best soldier (and the entire country of course).

6 Jabba The Hutt Faces Off Against Robin Hood

Jabba The Hutt is an influential crime lord in the galaxy. He is an alien, slug-looking creature and the definition of a dirty criminal. He's known for being greedy, lustful, having a voracious appetite, and threatening to eat the people who work for him. Jabba The Hutt would easily fit in as Lord Jabba, a filthy thief and scoundrel who collects astronomically high taxes from forest creatures in Robin Hood. Robin Hood, with his bow and arrow and his heart, would valiantly fight and win.

5 General Grievous Faces Off Against Hercules

Supreme Leader Snoke is a leader of a rogue army faction called First Order. Although he was armed with power and knowledge that he used to the advantage of the dark side, fans know that Snoke turned out to be a pawn used by Palpatine to own the galaxy. So, for an imposing figure who has the appearance of absolute power, he would fit in as a villain in The Incredibles. Violet of The Incredibleswould use her powers, which block evil, against Snoke (a figure who would seek to cloak the world and her loved ones with his treachery and malice).

3 Jango Fett Faces Off Against Elsa

Jango Fett is a bounty hunter who became the model for the Galactic Republic's clone army. Known as the best officer in the galaxy during the last years of The Republic, Jango Fett allowed Count Dooku to use his genetic makeup to create clones of him that would age twice as fast and see Dooku as their supreme leader. He also nabbed a clone for himself (who he named and raised as Boba Fett, a bounty hunter). He's clever and skilled in martial arts as well as various weaponry. In the world of Disney, he would be Jango - a somewhat deranged military leader who faces off against Elsa from Frozen. With her powers to manipulate snow and ice, she could defeat him!

In Rapunzel's world, Count Dooku would bear the same name and be a figure who helps Mother Gothel keep her Rapunzel in her tower. Dooku loves control, and he would excel as a harsh commander who ensures that Rapunzel stays in while mommy dearest (Mother Gothel) plays the good cop.

1 Darth Maul Faces Off Against Aladdin
