The wonderful world of Warcraft finally has an actual warrior attached. Accrding to Variety, Vikings star Travis Fimmel is set to star in the film, although the website's sources say an official offer has not yet been made.

There's been no word who Fimmel will play in director Duncan Jones' film, based on Blizzard's wildly popular MMORPG World of Warcraft, nor have any details about the story been released. Paula Patton and Colin Farrell are said to still be in talks to to appear.

Earlier this month, Legendary Pictures has set a Dec. 18, 2015 release date, so expect the cast to start filling out fairly soon.
