In a trip back to much simpler times, SquaredCircle Reddit shared a video of a fan’s dog howling in response to sound clips of Ric Flair belting out his patented “Woo!” call.

Shared earlier this month, right before everyone was at home glued to their phones and laptop screens, this video clip encompasses the cuteness and natural wonder that many have been longing to binge-watch since government-mandated quarantines and shelter-in-place protocols took place.

What’s most noteworthy about this video is how similar Ric Flair and the dog sound, and how the dog responds as if it understands what Flair is saying. The dog in the video looks to be a Basenji - a breed of dog originating from sub-Saharan Africa known for its pointy ears, slender build and distinct “yodel.” This dog certainly gives Jay Lethal a run for his money in matching The Nature Boy woo for woo.

While wrestling fans are waiting for life to return to normal, and with it, for wrestling shows to include live audiences and crowd pops once again, they can take comfort in nature's sense of humor. Ric Flair is still putting smiles on faces, although in this case it's with the help of a fan's enthusiastic dog.
