Avengers: Infinity War proved absolutely devastating for Earth's Mightiest Heroes. After obtaining all of the Infinity Stones, Thanos used the power of the Infinity Gauntlet to wipe out half the universe, including many of the Avengers and their allies. While Earth's Mightiest Heroes were able to reverse the snap and restore those they'd lost in Avengers: Endgame, one fan theory suggests Captain America/Steve Rogers -- who seemingly survived Infinity War -- may have actually originally died after being punched by the Mad Titan. In this new video, we're going to take you through that fan theory and how Thanos may have accidentally saved Steve when he turned back time.

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, it's not totally clear just what shape the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will take. While there's a good indication the characters Disney acquired from 21st Century Fox will soon arrive, there's not much solid information on just when or how that might happen. Right now, a number of productions have either been delayed or had their release dates changed as a result of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. However, at this time, there's no indication those delays will affect the plots of any of the projects.
As for Captain America, actor Chris Evans seems unlikely to return to the MCU in any capacity for the foreseeable future. However, the mantle of Captain America lives on with Sam Wilson/Falcon, to whom Steve gave his shield at the end of Endgame. Sam will team up with Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier in the upcoming Disney+ series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, in which he'll have competition for his new title in the form of John Walker/U.S. Agent
