Of all of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Thor probably had the most dramatic transformation in Avengers: Endgame. No, we're not talking about his change in body size. Instead, Endgame saw a major change in the hero's personality and character.

Thor's solo movies set him up to be something of a bold, brash and arrogant person. By the end of the first movie, he realizes he has to improve. However, he's not free of his issues. He does his best to get better, and Endgame is really the culmination of his arc and what's happened to him. At first he's broken up over what he's experienced, but he eventually comes into his own.

In terms of his future in the MCU, there's some indication Thor might team up with the Guardians of the Galaxy for their third film.
