VIDEO: Are There Two Captain Americas in Avengers: Endgame?

Steve Rogers/Captain America is one of the most popular characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and he's going to be integral to defeating Thanos and reversing the snap in Avengers: Endgame. However, a new theory suggests that there might be more than one Steve Rogers in the film.

A lot of the reasoning for this theory comes from the widely held belief that time travel will play a role in the film. And before you go there, this theory doesn't suggest a Skrull will take his place or impersonate him. No, this theory posits that Rogers might encounter his past self, or another version of the character might make his way into the present MCU timeline. There's some proof for this in his wardrobe, as per the trailers that have released so far.

Check out the video below for more proof there might be more than one Steve Rogers in Endgame.

Captain America is one of the characters that most fans think is most likely to die in Endgame. However, this theory might provide a way to kill one version of the character while giving another a happy ending. It's expected that, if Steve Rogers does die, either Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier or Sam Wilson/The Falcon will pick up his shield for the next phase of the MCU. Still, it's too early to know exactly what fate will befall Rogers in the upcoming film.
