Although the first trailer for Avengers: Endgame revealed that Tony Stark/Iron Man will be in dire straits following the event of Avengers: Infinity War, it's pretty unlikely that the hero will actually perish so quickly into the movie. Tony is almost certainly going to play a major role in defeating Thanos, and we think he might just obtain his very own Infinity Gauntlet in the process.

There's some indication in Infinity War that Tony will be key to defeating Thanos, as it would explain why Doctor Strange changed his attitude on allowing Spider-Man and Iron Man rather than giving up the Time Stone. An Infinity Gauntlet would be pretty necessary to undoing the snap, so it seems entirely possible Tony Stark will be integral to making that incredibly advanced piece of technology.

Check out the video below for more on the theory Tony Stark will get his very own Infinity Gauntlet in Endgame.

There are a lot of theories that Tony Stark won't survive the events of Endgame, and the first trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home was careful not to spoil whether or not the superhero survives. Considering the toll the Infinity Gauntlet took on Thanos, Tony may not survive his use of his own Infinity Gauntlet. If Tony does survive, he may take a backseat in the future. If he doesn't survive, the repercussions of his death will likely be felt far and wide.
