Dragon Ball Super features a lot of different Gods of Destruction. Although they possess an absolutely insane amount of power, there are a lot of rules that they have to follow, and some of them are actually pretty major. We've compiled a list of the ten biggest rules that Gods of Destruction have to follow in the Dragon Ball franchise, finishing with one that proves to be a major guide for them.
One of the biggest rules has to do with their divinity. Many of the divine beings of the multiverse are able to die, though they're typically able to live lives that are much, much longer than those of mortals. Destroyers play an integral role in the universe, as they help to create growth through destruction, but they do need to eventually be replaced. As such, they'll train powerful individuals, as Whis does with Vegeta. This means that Gods of Destruction are made, rather than born, which means they have to obtain the massive power necessary to become a God of Destruction. Whether this means we'll one day see one of the Z Fighters actually take over for Beerus remains to be seen, though.

Although Dragon Ball: Super has already finished its run in Japan, dub-watching fans are still in the process of seeing what the popular franchise still holds. Super Dragon Ball Heroes is helping tide fans over in the short-term, but it's unknown at this time just when the series will return with new episodes.
