Following the Disney/Fox merger, one of the biggest questions fans had was how Deadpool might come to interact with the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It's not currently known how he'll end up first appearing at the MCU, but Deadpool is sure to return sooner rather than later.

There's a rumor Deadpool will make his first appearance in the Spider-Man 3, which should release in the years after Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters this summer. Although there's some doubt as to if this rumor will actually amount to anything, it makes a lot of sense to have Deadpool first appear in a Spider-Man movie, as the two have a very long history. The two teamed up for a long-running series in the comics, so seeing the two interact has been something a lot of fans have wanted to see.

There's some controversy as to whether this rumor is actually true, as a different source debunked the idea of Deadpool in Spider-Man 3, but then suggested Tom Hardy's Venom might end up making appearance.

At this time, it's not totally clear how Marvel Studios will integrate Deadpool following his acquisition from 21st Century Fox. Disney CEO Bob Iger has said there's a possibility Wade Wilson's solo films will remain Rated-R. However, there's no guarantee Marvel won't opt for its standard PG-13 rating, despite the foul-mouthed hero's popularity. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has said the studio won't use the X-Men for "a very long time."
