The March 7 episode of “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” will see Rip Hunter (Arthur Davrill) once again piloting the time-faring Waverider, only this time the former captain will set the craft on a crash course for the truly prehistoric.

The CW has released a new promo for “Land of the Lost,” the upcoming “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” episode that will see the captured Hunter do everything in his power to escape the Legends. Marooned seventy million years in the past, the team will contend with a host of booby traps left by the mutinous captain, including a self-destruct protocol and vicious doppelgängers.

A DIVIDED MIND — After capturing Rip (Arthur Darvill), he forces the Waverider to crash, leaving the Legends stuck seventy million years in the past. Ray (Brandon Routh) leads Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Nate (Nick Zano) to recover a vital piece of the ship. In an effort to get the “good” Rip back, Rory (Dominic Purcell) suggests they enter Rip’s mind, but what Sara (Caity Lotz) and Jax (Franz Drameh) discover in his subconscious is not pleasant and they must fight evil versions of themselves. Meanwhile, Nate and Amaya continue to get closer, but it could cause serious ramifications.

Airing on the CW weekly at 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” stars Victor Garber as Dr. Martin Stein, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance, Franz Drameh as Jefferson Jackson, Amy Pemberton as Gideon, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory and Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter.
