One of the most beloved additions to Toy Story 4 is Duke Caboom, played by Keanu Reeves. The actor has been undergoing something of a renaissance lately, inspiring memes as he builds an incredibly supportive fanbase. However, the role of Duke Caboom was originally meant to be much smaller in the movie. There's a lot you might not have noticed or realized about the character in the movie, but don't worry: We've got you covered.

Duke Caboom is, unsurprisingly, inspired by legendary daredevil Evel Kenevil, who was known for his high flying and dangerous stunts. However, there's also something of Reeves in the role. In addition to having grown up in Canada, Reeves is a huge fan of motorcycles, and he co-founded a custom motorcycle business.

As mentioned earlier, Caboom was meant to really just be a one-off side character. However, when the folks at Pixar sat down with Reeves to discuss the part, they made the choice to make the role somewhat bigger than was first intended. Reeves asked a lot of questions about the character and who he was. He also struck various poses in the studio when he was doing voices for the character.
