Although the original cut of Avengers: Endgame didn't feature a post-credits scene (opting instead for a reference to 2008's Iron Man), the re-release has an unfinished deleted scene starring the Hulk at the end, in addition to a Stan Lee tribute and sneak peek at Spider-Man: Far From Home. The scene is short, but there's a lot you might not have realized about it.

The deleted footage shows Professor Hulk running into a burning building to rescue some people trapped inside, bringing them out on a satellite dish. He then gets a phone call on his iPad and asks, "Steve who?" The scene might seem underwhelming at first, but there are a few reasons it's interesting. This is something Hulk would have never done before merging with Bruce Banner, and he was too destructive to be able to do it safely if he did. This shows just what an incredible character arc the two have had in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, becoming a more well-rounded hero than either could have become separately.
