Mark Ruffalo's Hulk is one of the biggest staples of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, playing a major role in each of the four Avengers films, Thor: Ragnarok and even making a cameo appearance in Iron Man 3. Despite this, there hasn't been a solo Hulk film since 2008's The Incredible Hulk, starring Edward Norton as the Jade Giant before his eventual replacement by Ruffalo ahead of 2011's The Avengers.

Reportedly due to Universal owning the theatrical licensing rights to a solo Hulk film, plans for Ruffalo starring in a standalone MCU movie focused on the Strongest Avenger have been tentatively shelved. However, with the character still alive and relatively well by the end of the Avengers: Endgame, Marvel Studios may very well be reviving plans to bring the Hulk back to the big screen, with several hints that Ruffalo's return to the MCU may be sooner than expected.

Check out the video below for all the clues surrounding a potential Hulk solo film produced by Marvel Studios, finally giving the fan-favorite Avenger his own adventure separate from the rest of Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Amidst rumors that Marvel Studios has finally regained licensing rights for a potential Hulk solo film to She-Hulk about to get her own MCU television series on Disney+, the Hulk's cinematic future is looking brighter than ever. Ruffalo has since confirmed that he has planned to meet with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige for a possible appearance in the She-Hulk series, and has repeatedly expressed interest in reprising his role as Bruce Banner in some capacity in the MCU future beyond Endgame. And one last solo film for the Green Goliath may just be Ruffalo's perfect sendoff for nearly a full decade of portraying the fan-favorite superhero.
