Considering just how popular the Marvel Cinematic Universe is, it's unsurprising the internet is filled with fan theories about will happen in Phase Four. Some of the theories are pretty terrible and don't make much sense, but there are a few that might end up actually being legit. We've compiled a list of ten such theories and how they might impact the future of the MCU.

We're starting our list off with one about The Eternals. As Disney has now acquired those Marvel characters previously held by Fox, fans are desperate to know how they'll be introduced into the MCU. One fan theory suggests The Eternals might end up playing a role in this, as they're a group of superpowered beings who are an evolutionary offshoot of humans. They were created by the Celestials, who are also responsible for the X-Gene. The Eternals might end up giving some very good clues as to why we haven't seen the X-Men and mutants up until this point.

As Phase Four is set to wrap up with Thor: Love and Thunder, making it relatively short, there are still likely to be a lot of ramifications for the MCU as a whole in terms of what happens in this time period. These movies are likely to set up the introduction of the X-Men, Fantastic Four, Blade and many important characters who will end up being integral to the franchise's future, though just who will appear when isn't known at this time. If some of these fan theories pan out, Phase Four and Five might just end up being the most interesting yet.
