Having debuted in Thor, Loki quickly became a fan-favorite villain. Eventually, he evolved from a villain into something of an anti-hero. Avengers: Infinity War saw the character dying in an attempt to stop Thanos, rather than choosing to just join with the Mad Titan to save himself. However, is Loki going to stay dead forever? We don't think so.

Although a lot of people think that Loki will stay dead, we think there's a fair bit of evidence to suggest that the trickster might eventually make his way back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially considering his penchant for pretending to die. If time travel plays a major role in Avengers: Endgame -- as many think it will -- then there's a very good chance that he could be brought back in some way.

It's currently unclear exactly what role Loki will play in Endgame, though he could be very important to defeating Thanos. Check out the video below for more reasons that Loki is unlikely to be gone from the MCU forever.

There are currently plans for a show focused on Loki for the Disney+ streaming service. However, it's not entirely clear what role Tom Hiddleston will play in that show. It appears as if he'll narrate that show, which doesn't necessarily bode well for his future. However, considering how popular the character is, it's entirely possible that he might come back in some form.
