IT: Chapter Two is one of the scariest horror movies to come out in recent memory. With so many terrifying moments, it's hard to figure out just which one is the most terrifying. However, we've compiled a list of the ten scariest moments in all of It: Chapter Two.

In the number one spot, we've put the bridge scene from the start of the film, which has proven somewhat controversial. The scene -- which wasn't included in the '90s miniseries -- sees Adrian Mellon becoming the victim of a violent hate crime and being thrown from a bridge. What makes this scene all the more upsetting is that it's based in reality. In 1984, Charlie Howard of Bangor, Maine, was harassed and eventually murdered for his sexual orientation. Although a lot of what happens in IT: Chapter Two has no basis in reality, this scene is particularly gruesome as it draws from something that did actually happen.

Both IT films are based on Stephen King's 1986 novel of the same name. Although the first movie was critically acclaimed and became one of the highest-grossing R-rated films ever, the sequel has fared a little worse. However, IT: Chapter Two is still having a solid run at the box office, especially considering its high MPAA rating. The movie is the latest adaptation of King's work, which has been the basis for several recent movies and television series.

It: Chapter Two stars Bill Skarsgård, James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Jay Ryan, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, James Ransone, Andy Bean, Teach Grant, Jess Weixler, Will Beinbrink, Xavier Dolan, Jaeden Lieberher, Sophia Lillis, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Finn Wolfhard, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff and Nicholas Hamilton.
