The first trailer for Avengers: Endgame saw Tony Stark in Nebula in dire straits after the events of Avengers: Infinity War wiped out pretty much all of their allies. However, the second trailer for the film confirmed that the footage that movie's Super Bowl ad had, in fact, been altered to remove the two characters from a scene of the Avengers walking through a hanger. Although it seemed pretty unlikely that either character would actually die early in the film, there's a lot that their appearance in that second trailer might be able to tell fans about the movie. However, it also raises a lot of questions.

There are a lot of theories about who will save Tony Stark. A lot of fans think that Pepper Potts or Captain Marvel may play a role in the rescue, but that seems pretty unlikely. Instead, it's more likely that another character will save them, but who will that be?

At this time, a lot of fans figure that Tony Stark isn't going to survive the events of Endgame. However, nothing has yet been confirmed about the future of Robert Downey Jr. or his character, so fans will just have to wait and see. It's also unclear how closely Nebula will follow her arc in the comics, which saw her gaining possession of the Infinity Gauntlet herself.
