VIDEO: How Galactus Will Be a Better MCU Villain Than Thanos

Thanos was definitely one of the best villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, having enacted a master plan that resulted in half the life in the universe getting destroyed. There's a lot of speculation about who might be the next big bad in the MCU, and a lot of fans think Galactus -- who devours worlds -- might be the next villain who threatens all life. However, could he actually be better than Thanos? We think that he just might be able to surpass Thanos.

Turning the world-eating giant into a compelling villain isn't the easiest task, but the devourer of worlds isn't actually your typical villain. It's his hunger that drives him. He also serves as something of a necessary evil, as without him the multiverse could potentially be destroyed, which makes him particularly compelling.

Although at this time it's unclear just when Galactus will make his way to the MCU, it seems likely he's going to appear at some point. The immensely popular villain is one of the deadliest in the comics, and as the Fantastic Four become more central to the plot, they'll definitely have to go toe-to-toe with him at some point in the future. Still, that might not be until after Phase 5, as there are a lot of potential villains in Marvel's roster right now.
