Although Avengers: Endgame ran over three hours, there was still a lot from the movie that ended up on the cutting room floor or didn't get through the many script revisions that took place. As the movie was attempting to wrap up a decade of content, there was a lot to do. We've compiled a list of all of the various scenes that didn't end up making it into the film, including some that you might be shocked weren't included in the first place.

We're starting our list off with a scene involving Captain America. Many were stunned at the beginning of the movie when Thor decided to decapitate Thanos, which was a particularly gruesome image for a film under the Disney umbrella.  However, later in the movie almost saw Steve Rogers/Captain America losing his head at the end of the film. This idea lasted through a lot of script revisions and saw Thanos bringing the head of Steve Rogers through time before they faced off for the last time.
